Your pet should not eat anything you give them and there are surely many who would eat any food, but always keep in mind that like humans animals also need a healthy and balanced diet, there are foods that are usually prohibited, these are:

• Milk is not good for animals because the vast majority are lactose intolerant, as well as this causes diarrhea.

• Caffeine is also prohibited and works the same way that chocolate can cause heart problems in a few hours, vomiting, diarrhea, tachycardia and even death.

Animal feed has experienced in recent decades, a great development in Spain and elsewhere in Europe. This development has paralleled the growth of the livestock sector, particularly with regard to intensive farming, which has been an increase in demand for animal feed.

From the economic point of view, the feeding of food producing animals is the main cost of production. For this reason, it has made a great effort in understanding the nutritional needs of animals and the development of food rations to optimize the production of livestock species.

Moreover, animal feed is the first link in the food chain. Consequently, obtaining safe food depends partly on the safe use of feed by farmers.
