There are several items of horse riding equipment that riding schools can offer to their clientele to improve their riding experience and overall safety whilst on board and around the horses.

Most, if not all, riding schools currently offer riding hats or helmets that their clients can borrow or rent for a small charge. It is important that these hats meet the required safety standards, and that they are replaced at regular intervals, and immediately after a fall. A wide range of sizes will be required to accommodate all riders, from children to adults. Look for hats that are lightweight, comfortable to wear and easy to do up, especially if your clients will be in the saddle for long periods of time.

Another common piece of horse riding equipment to be offered by riding schools and trekking centres to their clients is riding boots; including short jodhpur boots and long riding boots. These boots should cover the rider’s ankle, to prevent any chafing when this area comes into contact with the stirrups or stirrup leathers, and have a smooth sole with a slight heel, to prevent the foot from slipping through the stirrups.

Riding boots can help to ensure safety in the saddle, as many clients, particularly beginners or riders who do not participate in equestrian activities very often, will not have their own. Specifically designed riding boots are far safer than the alternative of trainers, fashion boots or wellies. Again, try to ensure a large variety of sizes – including boots of different calf widths and heights – as well as the foot size to accommodate as many riders as possible.

Gloves make up an important part of equestrian safety wear. They can prevent blisters on the fingers and palms, rope burn and even keep hands comfortably warm in winter. It would be advisable to ensure that all clients are wearing gloves whether riding or handling the horses. It is best to keep different types of gloves available – thicker, warmer versions for winter months and more lightweight, breathable choices for summer – in a range of sizes to suit all types of hands.

Gloves can be cheaply purchased, however you may find that more expensive pairs will last longer – just keep an eye on them to ensure that they don’t ‘wander’ off! Gloves with ‘grippy’ palms and fingers are ideal to help riders to keep a good contact on the reins, and they’re also more durable.

While it is a given that all birds love to play with toys, you may not know how many toys you should be providing for your bird. You may think that two or three toys would be enough to keep your bird occupied when in fact you should have at least 10 toys in your bird’s cage at any given time.

10 toys! But that’s too many!

No, it’s actually how many toys your bird will need to keep busy. Just think of your bird as a child. If you had your child in his bedroom for days on end with only two toys to keep him occupied, wouldn’t he get bored? You bet he would! So would your bird.

You’re probably thinking next that you won’t have anywhere to put these bird toys. You will though, once you start thinking creatively. You can put a few at the bottom of the cage, some attached to the side of the cage and a few hanging from the top. You can even have some bird toys laying right on top of the cage for the bird to peck at from the inside. Birds love this and view it as sort of a game. Your bird will have plenty of room to move around in its cage with 10 toys or more that have been strategically placed.

What type of toys are the best?

Well, you’re going to have to get at least one toy that has a mirror on it. Pretty much all birds love mirrors and it is rare to find a bird that isn’t interested in one. As for other types of toys, you’ll have to test some on your bird. You’ll find that some toys get played with more than others and some get completely ignored. If you find that your bird simply doesn’t like a toy, you can replace it with another.

It is really important to keep your ” rel=”nofollow”>bird occupied and happy. This is your feathered friend that you have invited into your home and you certainly don’t want him to end up getting bored. If he does, he may start plucking out his own feathers in sheer desperation. It is cruel for any bird to be left in this type of situation.

You’ll have fun shopping for bird toys and trying to figure out which ones your bird would like. You might be surprised to find out that the ones you thought he’d like the most he ends up completely rejecting. Birds are funny like that. Each one has its own personality and will like what he likes. That’s really the nice thing about having a bird though. Every one is different and full of surprises.

Parakeets as pets for excellence, presented as a great company and will also impose other energy home. In addition, one of the biggest pluses is that it quickly got used to being in their cages and there are very few times when trying to escape.

These animals are also characterized by a higher average life to that of other birds, leading to survive for more than a decade. However, long-lived and are also very likely to get sick, especially when they have several years of their feathers. The big problem is that parakeets usually very difficult to realize when they are sick, and usually when we find it is too late to save them.

Surely some are wondering why it is so difficult to recognize symptoms of diseases in this type of bird. The reason is simple: they hide. Social life among individuals of a species is very important, and when the group realizes that one is sick are left to one side so you do not infect others.

Anyway, there are visible signs that can help detect early disease in a parakeet. Must pay close attention, but if you see them you should consult a specialist quickly.

Usually, when one of these birds is sick you often change the color of the feathers (very visible on the wings and tail) significantly reduces their mobility within the cage, the level of breathing changes strongly and feces do not have consistency or smell the same tradition.

These are just some examples of abnormal behavior or physical changes that may be triggers of disease. Detecting the symptoms early is vital to save the life of your pet.

This defines them as ectodermal animals. If we decide to have a reptile house, one of the basic care is to have a terrarium with two different temperatures: a warmer area than the other.

Have a thermometer, or better yet, two is ideal. In this way we ensure that everything is okay. If we had a power failure and the atmosphere becomes cold, a good idea is to place a warm water bottle wrapped in a towel inside the terrarium.

If the animal has cooled, becomes listless and fussy. It may be something darker. If we leave it in that condition may die. What we do is soak it in water at 21 degrees, taking care not to enter the head of it. After a while he withdrew and dried thoroughly with a warm towel. What we put in the terrarium, with a temperature not too warm, but we climb gradually.

In all cases the consultation is key to the vet specialist

Hygienic conditions prior to the animal comes into our home is very bad, for every animal that comes to the sale or you die dozens more times. The probability of having communicable diseases is always very high.

Moreover, the interaction of these animals with humans is limited or nonexistent. You have a kind of ornament or decorative object, since this interaction does not occur.

There are few veterinary specialists who can help in case of problems. That alone should not have these animals at home.

In addition, it has been shown to cause new allergies. For example, a protein present in the skin of snakes, their urine and saliva, produces allergies.

The taste for exotic pets can be respectable but we agree, we’ve talked about in previous post. Having reptiles as pets is a personal choice, it is always important to be conscious that it is a living being like us and therefore we should give comfort to your life right.

I personally prefer a pet with which to interact a little bit like a dog for example. But many people who choose to take home different types of snakes.

Pythons are most preferred when choosing in that species, but the problem is that when they grow up and grow in size, their owners abandon them. This is what happened in Florida in the U.S., where they now have a real problem because these animals that an adult can grow to six meters, have adapted and replicated in the Everglades and swamps, being a real problem for ecosystem.

Therefore the state government has banned the importation and ownership of seven species of reptiles among which is the Burmese python the main cause of the problems in Florida.

Dengue, being separated from his beloved depressed to the point that he stopped eating and doing their routines, shot to death, the news was much talked about in Brazil.

Dengo has 11 years, and Elza has 10 years were 8 years together in Niteroi Zoo, which lost its license for failure to comply with the rules for keeping animals.

All the animals who were there are being redistributed to other zoos. Deng was in a dark cage and had no room, but I was happy because he shared his life, his misfortune with his beloved Elza.

When they went to move the lion, the vets to check it was found in good health, but very sad, depressive symptoms, which can reverse to remove it and take it to another zoo, they had to sedate him. It took 8 men out of its cage and a plane load of Brazilian Air Force, to take him to a zoo of Brasilia.

Dengo was reunited with his beloved Elza in Brasilia and are now happily together sharing the wide open space, with another pair of lions and a pair of Bengal tigers. This wonderful and exemplary lions love story will surely be made ??into a film, or recreate a cartoon, so that everyone knows.
